Ubuntu AMP Install
To install Apache, MySQL, and PHP on Ubuntu, we use the following command on one line:
thank u for this
That works great
So, then how do you admin this AMP install?
In particular, how are aliases declared to other directories for development and how does one interact with MySQL and it’s configuration?
OMR
Normally you would have to still modify the apache.conf file and use a tool like phpMySql or the MySQL command line.
Hi there would you mind letting me know which web host you’re using? I’ve loaded your blog in
3 completely different web browsers and I must say this blog loads a lot quicker then most.
Can you suggest a good hosting provider at a reasonable
price? Many thanks, I appreciate it!
We currently use Hostgator for our web host. They are pretty reasonable.
